Way Up North Festival: A platform for North Jutland's emerging musicians
On Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 19:00, Studenterhuset Aalborg will be the venue for the Way Up North Festival, a significant event that showcases the best of North Jutland's music scene. Since its inception in 2004, the festival has remained committed to highlighting 20-30 selected bands and artists, while attracting guests from the Danish music industry keen on discovering new talent.
Musicians interested in participating must submit an email to dive@studenterhuset.dk by August 25, 2024, including a link to three music tracks, a brief description of the music or band, and press materials. Only bands and solo artists from North Jutland will be considered. Selected artists will have the chance to perform at major music industry events such as Spot Festival in Aarhus and others across Europe and Scandinavia, with coaching support from Studenterhuset and KORMA.
