This position is full-time for 24 months.


The postdoc will contribute to a major international study examining gendered discourses, controversies, and practices among far-right youth leaders, organizations and movements, and how these ideas gain traction in mainstream politics. The project is conducted across eight European countries (DK, FR, HU, IT, RO, S, SE, UK), but with particular focus on the case of Denmark.

Qualifications
Applicants with experience in mixed methods, particularly digital methods, data scraping/analysis and qualitative research (Netnography and interviews) will be preferred. Proficiency in English and reading/communication skills in Danish, or a Scandinavian language are required.


Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of a consortium spanning five universities, you will contribute to:
•    Digital methods 
•    Quali-quantitative studies (Actor-Network analysis, Controversy mapping, Netnography) 
•    Mapping and examining gender-focused debates 
•    Semi-structured Interviews with youth in Denmark
•    Production of high-level research outputs, policy briefs and recommendations, based on findings
•    Participation in international workshops and activities 
This is a strong opportunity for a researcher eager to work within an international environment on critical questions about youth, far-right mobilisation, gender and democracy, masculinity/femininity.


Appointment as postdoc requires academic qualifications at PhD level.
