Are you an innovative, yet structured software developer, with no need for high-level OS services to aid your implementations? Are you driven by an urge to understand complex system architectures for supporting others and build better implementations on top of it? Do you want to develop the software for our upcoming satellite projects in close collaboration with hardware engineers as well as system level designers and satellite operators? Then this is the job for you!
We are looking for a skilled developer having at least three years of experience with low-level programming. You will be part of a closely integrated team, but still have the courage to independently find and implement solutions.

Your Responsibilities
- Improving and extending firmware on our modules installed in satellites
- Maintaining satellite communication stacks released as Open Source
- Supporting internal as well as external customers when questions arise that our operations team cannot explain
- Maintaining client applications for easing usage of our in-orbit modules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics/Software Engineering or related field.
- At least three years experience with programming using C
- Experienced in debugging, testing and working in the laboratory environment.
- Able to plan and prioritize complex tasks and multiple projects at once.
- Familiar with Ubuntu Linux
- Knowledge of FPGA development for Xilinx SoC is a plus
- Giving as well as receiving feedback from colleagues
