We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with an engineering background to manage internal space R&D projects. Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage internal R&D projects focused on developing the next generation of avionics for satellite systems.
  • Oversee and coordinate project activities across various engineering teams, including software, electronics, mechanical, and thermal engineering.
  • Collaborate closely with team leads to plan, prioritize, and ensure smooth execution of tasks, meeting technical milestones and project timelines.
  • Facilitate cross-disciplinary communication to align engineering efforts with project objectives and technical requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Drive innovation and guide engineering teams through problem-solving processes to overcome technical challenges.
  • Ensure that product development follows industry standards and internal quality processes for avionics and satellite systems.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and best practices within the project team to foster a collaborative and productive environment.


Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in R&D or product development, ideally within the aerospace, avionic, satellite or electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and hands-on experience in one or more relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., software, electronics, mechanical, thermal).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams, particularly within product development settings.
  • Ability to guide and support diverse engineering teams through complex development cycles, balancing technical requirements with project timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical teams and upper management.
  • Self-driven with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, ideally with a focus on aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to avionics and satellite systems development.
