Location: Aalborg, Denmark
Contract type: 90% with possibility of being 100%. Employment conditions according to Danish rules for folkeskole teachers.
Contract term: Probable one year provisional, then permanent.
A great opportunity to work in a European country with international colleagues. Skipper Clement is an established Danish private school of 820 students, 230 students being in the International line. Students are aged 5 to 17 years and come from all over the world. In addition to working with a strong group of international teachers, you will be able to participate fully in the Danish life and culture within a Danish school.
In the International line we use Cambridge International Examinations curriculum and offer 9 subjects to IGCSE exam level, including International Mathematics (0607) Physics (0610) and Coordinated Sciences (0654)
We are looking for an experienced professional teacher mostly for our secondary department. You will be able to teach the 3 IGCSE subjects mentioned above, along with lower secondary subjects including mathematics and science. Other subjects that you can offer would be of interest. Applicants must:
- Be qualified teachers
- Have EU citizenship or a work visa for Denmark.
- Have taught IGCSE or GCSE or to an equivalent level in both Mathematics and Physics
- Be fluent English speakers with good pronunciation.
