Job Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Waitresses/Waiters at our Indian restaurant in Denmark. The ideal candidates will be passionate about providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring they have a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing menus and assisting with menu selections as needed.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
- Serve food and drinks to guests efficiently and in accordance with service standards, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or special requests.
- Monitor and anticipate guests' needs, such as refilling drinks, clearing plates, and providing additional condiments or utensils.
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including resetting tables and cleaning spills or debris.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the dining area and cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waitress/waiter or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with coworkers.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Proficiency in Danish and/or English is preferred, but not mandatory.
