ProCon Wind Energy’s activities within the renewables industry with focus on onshore and offshore wind activities worldwide are growing globally, and we are therefore looking for a Global QHSE Manager to join our team in Aalborg. ProCon Wind Energy is certified in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and UN Sustainable Development Goals Certification by Bureau Veritas.

The job

As Global QHSE Manager in ProCon Wind Energy, you put safety first on the agenda by promoting a culture of safety, identifying, and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with global and local health and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for putting the sustainability on the agenda in ProCon.

You will be responsible for ensuring consistent and effective management of quality, health, and safety practices worldwide. The QHSE department establishes and enforces standards, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvement.

This includes:

- Ensure the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the QHSE Systems.

- Develop and implement a global health and safety strategy.

- Establish safety objectives and targets to measure and monitor progress.

- Ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations, standards, and codes.

- Ensure the development and deliver training programs to educate employees and contractors (white collars and blue collars) on safety procedures, emergency response, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the overall use of the QHSE systems.

- Oversee or facilitate incident investigation processes to identify root causes and contributing factors of accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents.

- Preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new tenders.

- Establish and maintain statistic data on punches across the organization and improve the general quality in cooperation with the site managers and supervisors.

- Site visits for safety walks, QA/QC and internal audits.

- Plan and facilitate internal and external audits (incl. supplier audits) and follow up on NCRs etc.

- Operate and develop the Sustainability actions in ProCon in close cooperation with the organization and the Sustainability Committee.

You will refer to the CEO.

 

Expectations to your qualifications

- More than 5 years’ experience within Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment management systems from a similar position.

- Familiarity to ISO9001, ISO 14001 and ISO45001.

- Danish and English language capabilities at a professional and technical level.

- Experience with QC of electrical and mechanical installations is an advantage.

- Any experience from offshore/onshore wind industry is an advantage.
