Product Manager

Job Description
The product manager acts as a technical expert between the market and the company. You will combine technical knowledge with commercial skills – liaise with engineering, construction and sales to adapt and develop product solutions that are competitive and successful in the market.
As our new product manager, you understand the needs of our customers by closely cooperating with our global frontline sales team, engineering, construction and the other members in the back office.
Job Responsibilities
More specifically, your tasks will be to:
- Evaluate the feasibility of customer wishes and define solutions with NT Group’s product portfolio
- Prepare offers and all technical material (e.g., drawings, specifications, cost calculation) for the sales responsible managers
- Act as technical support and, where necessary, provide commercial assistance to sellers, dealers, agents and customers
- Ensure a timely level of sales support for ongoing projects
- Maintain and develop technical material (e.g., training material)
- Ensure that the product complies with the customer order and the regulations and ordinances of the market area (e.g., CE marking, electrical standards, etc.)
- Develop the profitability of the product and participate in product development
Background & Skills
For this role a technical degree is required. We expect that you have a technical, engineering and/or construction-orientated educational background. Work experience from a similar role is a benefit, but we welcome newly graduates with the right attitude to apply for the job. We hire for attitude and train for skills.
Our candidate:
- Has a solid technical background as well as commercial understanding and flair
- Has strong analytical skills and an ability to assess technical and commercial viability of solutions
- Has experience or ability to work cross functionally with sales, engineering, production and customers
- Will thrive in a cross-cultural work environment
- Is fluent in English and Danish language
